4-week program: Spanish for Business
Orientation Weekend
- Saturday: Guided Tour in Madrid
- Sunday:
- Bus to Salamanca
- Students and professors move into their chosen accommodation (ACCOMMODATION INCLUDED FOR PROFESSORS!)
- Students eat welcome lunch with their host families or flat-mates.
- Guided historical & practical tour
Course Begins
- Monday morning: Classes begin at Mester. Students must arrive at 9:00 AM for orientation.
- Monday night: Tapas Tour!
Example of Curriculum:
4-week Intensive Spanish Language Course
- Grammar & Conversation
- Students will be placed in their appropriate language level with peers from countries around the world
- A1-C2 levels: equivalent to Spanish 100-400
- Grammar (9:30-11:15)
- Conversation (11:30-1:00)
- If these classes are taken from Monday to Friday for 4 weeks:
- Credit Transfer Goal: 5-6 Credit Hours
- Normal Price: $1,975
- Additional Elective Course:
- Faculty members have access to classrooms in order to teach their own classes from their home institution. Scheduling flexible.
- And/Or:
- Students may participate in our electives which take place from 1:00-2:00 such as Spanish for Business.
- Example: Spanish for Business 1 hour per day Monday-Friday
- Combined with: additional lectures, conferences, internships (for students with advanced Spanish) and related activities.
- We create tailor made courses for each group. Classroom hours and evaluation methods can be adjusted to meet university standards for credit transfer.
- Credit Transfer Goal: 3 Credit Hours (Spanish for Business)
- Price: $390 per 3 Credit Hours
- Note! If groups prefer to attend intensive language courses only 3-4 times per week, in order to reserve time for their professor´s course or additional electives, arrangements can be made.
- Students also have access to a variety of sociocultural activities throughout the afternoons, along with 1-2 included weekend excursions.
