DELE Preparation Courses
The DELE, or Diploma of Spanish as a Foreign Language, is a series of exams, which are considered the official “degree of fluency of the Spanish Language,” and are “internationally recognized official qualifications with permanent validity.”
DELE exams are organized and carried out by the Cervantes Institute, and the University of Salamanca is responsible for the preparation, correction and final evaluation of all the tests. Examinations are held in April, May, July, October and November.
Prepare for the DELE with Mester!
Mester offers preparatory courses for study abroad students interested in completing the DELE at Intermediate and Superior levels. Our DELE courses are similar to our intensive language courses. In addition these courses incorporate a heavier workload including longer and more complex readings, more frequent at-home writing assignments, and incorporation of listening comprehension exercises.
The exams include the following four parts:
- Reading comprehension test
- Written expression and interaction test
- Listening comprehension test
- Oral expression and interaction test
