Lunes de Aguas

One great thing about studying abroad in Spain is that there are a number of traditional festivals that you can participate in! Lunes de Aguas, a local Salamanca festival, takes place the Monday after Easter.
In Salamanca, many business, schools, and offices close for the afternoon to celebrate. On this day, students and locals go to the countryside with family and friends to eat hornazo and celebrate the end of lent.
